Who we are

Stenenhalle Studio is a small, independent creative practice focused on the conception and realisation of spatial, kinetic, and experiential work.

The studio grew out of Aeroporto, a design and fabrication consultancy founded in the early 2000s and active internationally for over a decade. Aeroporto delivered permanent and temporary works across cultural, commercial, and themed environments, combining design authorship with hands-on delivery. That period established a way of working grounded in build logic, spatial clarity, and the belief that ideas should survive contact with reality.

Stenenhalle Studio represents a quieter evolution of that practice. It operates as a holding platform for design thinking, prototyping, and advisory work rather than a volume-driven consultancy. Projects are selective, often exploratory, and typically sit at the intersection of spatial design, physical systems, and human experience.

The studio is currently UK-registered and maintains continuity with its earlier work while allowing space for future projects, collaborations, and new contexts. Activity is intentionally limited and focused on quality, authorship, and long-term thinking rather than constant output.
